There is just so much to love about miss Harper. She is a stunning pup with unique markings and big, adorable ears that sometimes have a mind of their own. Harper is all about the fun. She is energetic and playful, loving to explore. Playing with toys is great but it is even more fun when she has someone that will join in the game with her. Harper is a sweet girl who will happily have some snuggle time alongside her people or her doggie pal. She loves people, particularly when they give her the love and attention back.

This fun and energetic pup likes to make doggy friends. She is more on the submissive side at first but once she finds her feet she just loves to play and rumble. In foster care, she has been living with an adult dog who has been showing her the ropes and whom she has been enjoying hanging out with. Harper is expected to be a large sized adult – possibly around the 25-30kg. She will need an active family who will be able to provide her with good physical and mental stimulation throughout her life.

While in foster care, Harper has been learning her basics. She has done great with her toilet training and has also been crate trained where she sleeps throughout the night without a peep. Harper is food motivated and knows how to use her brain. She has learnt sit and how to walk on the lead. Loud noises can be a bit scary; however, she is relatively quick to recover with some treats and support from her carer. Harper’s new owner will need to be committed to continuing her training so that she can grow up to be a well-mannered adult dog. She travels well in the car and is sure to enjoy tagging along with her new owners on adventures.

We are looking for a dog experienced home for Harper where she will be a loved member of the family. She can live with another friendly and active adult dog who is already fully trained and ready to be a great role model for her. Otherwise, she is fine to live as an only dog as she does have the ability to spend some time playing by herself, but it would be best if someone was home more often than not.

Harper will need to be allowed inside to spend time with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. She is still learning that all four of her feet need to stay on the ground so is best suited to an adult only home or older dogy savvy kids who are confident with typical puppy behaviours. Harper is not suited to a home with cats or chickens.

If you would like to make this beautiful girl a part of your family, then please complete a Dog Adoption Enquiry form on the Fetching Dogs website as the next step. Please add plenty of details about your previous dog experience, current household members and the type of lifestyle Harper would have with you.

Additional information: This puppy will be adopted out under a desexing contract that will require the dog to be desexed by a given age. The cost of desexing will be included as part of the adoption fee. A $250 desexing bond will be payable in addition to the adoption fee and will be refunded upon proof of desexing. This process is further discussed with successful applicants.
