Meet the Hawaiian Girls – Kiana, Malia, Nalani and Akoni!!
These 4 beautiful girls were surrendered to a rural NSW facility (along with their brothers – Noa, Kimo and Pika) when they were 6 weeks old. Their parents are loved family dogs, and we are working to get their mum desexed. The mum is a medium working breed mix and dad is a small sized pug mix (11kg) (photos of parents included below). All of the puppies in this litter have fantastic temperaments and get complemented by everyone who meets them.
In general, the girls all love the explore. You can often find them checking out all the nooks and crannies of their foster carer’s yard. They are usually happy to entertain themselves with some fun as they love to play. The pups are good with the adult dogs in the household and took quickly to a younger one visiting so have had a great start to their socialisation with other dogs.
Kiana (pink collar) is a very pretty little girl who is mostly black with a white mark on her chest and some little white toes. This sweetie loves to do zoomies and has a real love of fun. She is also a smart pup who responds well to routine and demonstrates patience. Kiana sit and waits patiently for her food while you get it ready.
Malia (red collar) is the sweetest little vegemite. She is a tan girl with mottling on her front legs and a cute little dark muzzle. This little one settled quickly into the routine of her foster home. Her favourite thing to do is run around having fun and getting cuddles.
Akoni (violet collar) has those puppy dog eyes that just suck you in. She is a gorgeous little black girl with spotty white feet and some white on her chest. This little girl knows all about the routine in her foster home and is quite cluey. Akoni is definitely one you find out running around and having fun times with her friends.
Nalani (green collar) is such a special girl. She loves to be on the go and involved in everything. But she also doesn’t mind being a little babied with lots of attention and cuddles. Nalani has a lovely tan coat, a cute white sock, and the most expressive little black eyebrows.
Since all these little girls are still puppies, they will need new owners who are committed to their ongoing training. We want to see these girls become model canine citizens when they are adult dogs who are able to be included in their owner’s activities and live fulfilled lives. This will mean well considered exposure to the big wide world and quality mental stimulation. The pups will be medium sized when fully grown and will need daily exercise to keep them happy and healthy throughout their lives.
We are looking for dog experienced homes for the Hawaiian girls. They will be rehomed separately and can live with another friendly adult dog(s) who is already fully trained and ready to be a great role model for the new addition. Otherwise, they can live as an only dog with the usual training and guidance to build their independence away from their siblings. Their new homes should allow them inside to be with the family and they will need a warm comfy bed to sleep in at night. The pups are young enough to learn to live with dog savvy children or other types of pets with the appropriate training and supervision. Each of these pups is going to make a wonderful addition to their lucky new home.
If you would like to be considered to bring home one of these gorgeous girls, then please complete a Dog Adoption Enquiry form on the Fetching Dogs website as the first step. Please include plenty of details about your previous dog experience, current household members and the type of lifestyle you can offer a pup.
Additional information: This puppy will be adopted out under a desexing contract that will require the dog to be desexed by a given age. The cost of desexing will be included as part of the adoption fee. A $250 desexing bond will be payable in addition to the adoption fee and will be refunded upon proof of desexing. This process is further discussed with successful applicants.
